Unlike traditional Web2 gift cards, Tamperproofed gift cards must be unsealed in order for the encrypted code inside to be used by the holder. Once the code revealed, it can be used directly with the merchant like a traditional gift card.
When a Tamperproofed gift card is unsealed, the public ledger reflects the NFT's status, notifying everyone that the code has been revealed to the holder, i.e. the token is not safe for purchase.
What are Tamperproofed Gift Cards?
With our Tamperproof technology, digital gift cards are secured and can only by viewed by the holder when unsealed. This allows for the gift card to hold it's value when sold or transferred.
